ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Autopsy results have confirmed the identity of a man who was murdered in St. Lawrence County.

Jason Wing, 21, of Winthrop was missing for more than a year when police found his remains off Grantville Road in the town of Norfolk earlier this month.

All along, they suspected foul play was involved, and the autopsy confirmed he had been shot in the head.

Police said the person who pulled the trigger was Dustin Trimm, 37. They announced his arrest last week when the remains were first discovered.

Trimm has been charged with 2nd degree murder. Police said they have not yet found the weapon used in the crime.
