The unbeaten Syracuse basketball team is eagerly anticipating its NIT Season Tip-Off semifinal matchup with Virginia Tech Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.
The team's first road trip of the season comes at an opportune time with a cloud hovering over the program since last Thursday night when allegations against assistant Bernie Fine surfaced and led to his suspension.
Syracuse (4-0) faces the Hokies Wednesday night around 9:30 p.m. and then will take on either Oklahoma State (4-0) or Stanford (3-0) in the consolation or championship game Friday.
