SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- An attorney and SU alum is helping the university in the midst of the Bernie Fine investigation.

Paul Verbinnen is the president and cofounder of Sard Verbinnen and Co., but Kevin Quinn, Senior VP of Public Affairs at SU says neither Paul Verbinnen nor the firm have been hired by the University. Quinn says Verbinnen is an alum and friend of the University who is providing them some advice and guidance on the matter.
