Pre-trial motions postponed for the Megabus driver
ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Pre trial motions for the Megabus driver who crashed into a bridge on Onondaga Lake Parkway have been postponed again. A pretrial hearing was scheduled to happen this week, but has been postponed until September 1st.
John Tomaszewski pleaded not guilty in May to criminally negligent homicide. He was driving the bus from Philadelphia to Syracuse back in September when it crashed into the CSX railroad bridge killing four people and injuring twenty others.
Tomaszewski told investigators he never saw the numerous signs warning of the low bridge. His lawyer says he suffered a traumatic brain injury in the wreck.
