ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Clay man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of first degree vehicular manslaughter for a crash that killed his girlfriend.
Mark Richter was arraigned in Onondaga County Court Wednesday morning on a grand jury indictment. Prosecutors say Richter was driving drunk when he crashed into a tree on Grampian Road back in May, killing Debra Brown, 23.
According to investigators, the couple's two-year-old son and two other passengers were also in the car.
In addition to the count of vehicular manslaughter, Richter also faces several other DWI-related charges.
