ITHACA, N.Y. -- Ithaca police announce an intensive investigation has revealed new information in the death of a Cornell student. George Desdunes, 19, was found unconscious in the library of the SAE Hillcrest frat house last Friday.

Authorities say they believe alcohol was involved in the sophomore's death. Now police are looking into - "events that took place involving the fraternity and the sequence of events that may have contributed to the cause of death."

Police say they have the names of several people involved in the fraternity, who were also associated with the victim.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to call them at (607) 272-9973.
