ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The former principal of Jordan-Elbridge High School has been barred from all future board of education meetings. This comes after David Zehner was escorted out of the building during a meeting last month.
Back on January 19th, Zehner spoke out about a number of open meeting law violations when he refused to stop after his time was up, six board members walked out and asked that he be removed from the building.
According to the former principal, he's now being asked not to attend meetings and has also been barred from any other activity or function on school property.
This is just the latest in what has been a tumultuous past few months for the district, as it struggles with disputes over resignations and terminations of several key employees.
