SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- "Georgetown's played as well as anybody in the league or better, probably better, and they'll be here Monday," said Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim.

If you listen to Coach Boeheim, it's just another game. But SU fans aren't good listeners. Even before Saturday's Marquette game, fans were buzzing about the upcoming matchup against rival Georgetown.

"It's not what I think we're going to do it's what I know we're going to do and we're going to take the crown because Georgetown's our rival and we're going to do what we need to do," said Syracuse University senior Ari Slavin.

"Georgetown really has a lot going for them as far as their rebounding abilities but I think that we can match that as long as some of our key players have a good game," said Syracuse resident Megan Moran.

And just in time for the Georgetown game, a new shirt has hit stores. The 'shut it down' t-shirt is a take off of the team's theme for the season.

"It's a great fantastic campaign. I'm glad the university and the team did that. The better the team does the better we do as a store," said Manny's Co-owner Bill Nester.

The shut it down shirt is just the latest to hit shelves that fans can wear during games to root on the Orange. Much like the Marathon Men and Orange out shirts before them, Syracuse fans are hoping that the shirts will give an added home court advantage to Syracuse during the season.

"I think it's a great slogan for the year. I think that that's their big thing for the year so I say go for it, keep it up, it's working!" said Moran.

It certainly seems to be working for SU. This is the fifth time in team history that they've won 19 of their first 20 games, and fans seem confident they'll get win number 20 on Monday.

"I know we're going to shut down Georgetown I've been here for four years and our biggest rivalry has been Georgetown," said Slavin.

"Let's go Cuse. Let's go win a championship this year," said Rochester resident Jason Baker.

Monday's game is the first of two meetings between the teams this year.
