Police say that Anthony and Ashley Carnevale of Kirkwood broke into a Windsor home back in January trying to steal prescription drugs. According to investigators, they shot both the home's owner, Ethan Button, and his cousin, Jean Clark. Clark was pronounced dead on the scene and Button survived.

The Carnevales pleaded not guilty to multiple charges of murder, assault and attempted robbery.
