DRYDEN, NY-- The number 19 Watkins Glen boys basketball team got all they could handle from Whitney Point. The Senecas fought off an upset bit from the Eagles to claim a 68-66 win and the IAC large school title.

The Glen led by 8 at half, but the Eagles would take a two point lead in the fourth quarter. In the final seconds the Senecas would have a two point lead and a man at the line with 11 seconds left, but a missed free throw gave the Eagles a chance to win or tie. A three point attempt was missed and the Seneca's held on for the win.
