EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Auburn's Trenton Ward scored a game-high 24 points and each one was needed as the Maroons held off Baldwinsville 66-65 in the opening round of East Syracuse-Minoa's Vince Celi Memorial Tournament on Thursday.
Auburn will play ES-M, which beat Mexico, in the championship game Friday afternoon.
