Anaheim Ducks pick Norfolk as new minor league affiliate

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Syracuse Crunch and Norfolk Admirals will be trading places next year. The Anaheim Ducks organization announced Thursday they will take on Norfolk as their minor league affiliate. Last week, the Crunch announced they would be affiliated with the Tampa Bay Lighting, who used to be aligned with Norfolk.
Former Crunch coach Trent Yawney will remain with the Duck organization and coach the Admirals. Yawney coach in Norfolk from 2000-2005.
