Training Week 2: Natalie Scavone
The dreaded Week 2. Gorgeous weather to ride on Tuesday with my new clipless pedals. Clipping in and clipping out. Practice, practice, practice.
Wednesday swim training was another story. Within 10 minutes I had broken my goggles and worked to force my head into someone else's goggles with squeezing all my grey matter out through my ears. Crowded lanes and toe cramps - in both feet- left me screaming in my mind to run from the pool.
Thursday - time for a run - my least favorite event. Good thing I was not feeling well - I will spare the details, so no running for me. Just get me back to the bike - my favorite leg.
