The SU women's lacrosse team rides a 13-game win streak into Friday night's battle with top-seed and unbeaten Maryland in the NCAA semifinals at Villanova.
After losing their season opener for the first time since 1996, it didn't seem like the Final Four would be the place where the Orange mens' lax team would end the season. But Syracuse once again finds themselves playing on Memorial Day Weekend with a chance to win their twelfth national championship.
After knocking off Florida in the NCAA Quarterfinals Saturday, the SU women's lacrosse team is headed back to the Final Four for the second straight year to face undefeated and top-seeded Maryland. While the veterans know what to expect, the rookies are new to it all.
The Binghamton University baseball team lead Maine 8-2 in the second round of the America East Tournament, when it was called in the eighth inning due to inclement weather. The game will resume Friday at noon.
