NEW YORK STATE -- Ten SUNY campuses across the state will share in state funding for research projects.
Seven projects were chosen from a pool of 77 proposals with monetary rewards of up to $100,000. The SUNY Research Collaboration Fund supports the work of researchers and students to advance science, innovation and economic prosperity in New York.
Upstate Medical University and Binghamton University will join two others to work on a project focused on treating stress. The two campuses will also work together on stroke prevention.
BU is also working with SUNY Potsdam on a medical-imaging project.
SUNY ESF is part of a winning project focusing the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and climate change.
