Nearly 30 big rigs were at Burnet Park in Syracuse for the 5th annual Big Rig Day. YNN's StormChaser was one of the big rigs! Kids had a chance to climb aboard the big machines and have some fun.

Lacey says, “Since the weather was already so nice, we chose books about Spring! After reading a great book about flowers, all the kids shared so many flower and gardening stories with me. All their story’s made me smile. They are really a bright group of students.”

The combination of almost 80 degree weather in March, SU in the playoffs and it being St. Patrick’s Day, the Syracuse St. Patrick’s Parade brought out approximately 100,000 people to downtown Syracuse.

The YNN StormChaser, news car and over 30 YNN staff members participated in the day’s festivities. Each year we hear the crowd shout-outs for “YNN!” and they love the ever-popular green beads that we hand out and this year was no different. It was a beautiful day for a parade and YNN once again felt the “love” from our community.
