Man injured and car missing in Massena

MASSENA, N.Y. -- A man was seriously injured and a car is missing following a robbery in Massena.

Police say around 7 a.m. Wednesday, they received a phone call from a passing driver who said they saw a man bleeding on East Orvis Street. They say when they arrived, they found a 23-year-old male with serious injuries to the face and throat.

Missing is a 2001 red Oldsmobile Alero. The plate number is FMC 1182.

The car does not belong to the victim, but he was borrowing it at the time.

The victim was taken to Massena Memorial Hospital.

Police are searching for three people in connection with the incident. They are asking anyone with information to give them a call at (315) 769-3577.
