WEST CARTHAGE, N.Y. -- Price Chopper Store Managers took more than a few pies to the face Saturday for a good cause. The Pie throwing event in West Carthage helped raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
For just a few bucks, store associates along with community members were able to pie the stores managers. The annual fundraiser along with several other events has helped bring a great deal of money in for the MDA this year, one of the main charities Price Chopper supports.
Customer Service Manager Sherri Colligan said, "We've done a lot of stuff outside of the store to raise money. We should almost be at $6,000 so that's good."
If you would like to help Price Chopper and support the MDA you can purchase a shamrock at the store throughout the end of the weekend.
