STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- New dorms on the Corning Community College campus are getting closer to finally becoming a reality.
An environmental impact study on the project was approved last week by the Steuben County Industrial Development Agency. The study was designed to look at potential issues like noise and traffic congestion.
The $16 million project is scheduled to break ground this spring and school officials said the 322 room dorm should be ready by the fall of 2013.
