WASHINGTON COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Cornell student who died after returning home to Argyle for the summer is being laid to rest today. Krista Depew was hospitalized on Friday after complaining that she felt sick. She died the next day from what turned out to be meningitis.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at the Argyle Presbyterian Church on Main Street.

Cornell offered its condolences to Depew's family on their website, also offering more information on meningitis.
