SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- We have a traffic alert to pass along if your commute takes you on Route 690 East through Syracuse.

Starting at 9 a.m. Monday, the right lane of 690 East will be closed from West Street to the Route 81 south ramp for at least two weeks.

The closure is for crews to perform emergency repairs to the bridge over Willow Street. A small piece of concrete fell from the bridge onto the road below at the end of last month.

During repair work, the onramp from West Street to 690 East will remain open other than a short period Monday morning, and the ramp from 690 East to 81 South will also remain open.
