ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Kenny G is coming back to Jazz Fest. The lineup for the 30th anniversary event was announced Tuesday.
Kenny G will be the headliner on Friday, June 22nd. On Saturday, soon-to-be Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Donovan will perform.
The other big news about this year's Jazz Fest is the location. This year's show is being moved from Onondaga Community College, where it's been held for the past 11 years, to Jamesville Beach.
The show's founder said he's excited about the new location and the lineup, and he credits a lot of Jazz Fest's success to the fans.
"I marvel at how much artists want to come and play this festival. And the reason for that is because we have incredible fans. They're knowledgeable, they're enthusiastic, they're supportive. Their passion is unbridled, they stand there in the rain, the mud, whatever. They've been with us through thick and thin and artists love that," said Frank Malfitano, Executive Producer of Jazz Fest.
