Four arrested after heroin sales investigation

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Police agencies are cracking down on heroin sales on the southside of Binghamton.
Following a 3 month investigation, police made four arrests and seized more than 600 packets of heroin worth more than $10,000, along with $20,000 cash, while executing two separate search warrants
During the first search, officials arrested William Michalski, 42, and Paul Michalsk, 44, both of Deposit. Police found 33 packets of heroin, prescription drugs, and other items in their vehicle. Both men now face drug sale and possession charges, along with a weapon charge.
Police also arrested Mike Dela Cruz, 31, of New York City and Juan Dela Cruz, 33, after searching Juan's home on Telegraph Street in Binghamton. There they found more than 570 packets of heroin, about $20,000 in cash, marijuana and ecstacy. Juan Dela Cruz faces drug sale and possession charges, while Mike Dela Cruz faces possession charges.
