LOWVILLE, N.Y. -- State Police in Lowville arrest a man for allegedly sexually abusing a teenager.

Timothy Bates, 21, was taken into custody Sunday. Bates is accused of having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl over the weekend.

He is charged with third-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned and sent to the Lewis County Correctional Facility on $2,500 bail.
