WAVERLY, N.Y. -- Waverly Police say the driver involved in a car-pedestrian crash that claimed the life of an 80-year-old woman will most likely not face charges.
Norma Ivester died when a 31-year-old Waverly woman driving in a car with her son hit and killed Ivester on Broad Street Wednesday.
Police say the the driver did pull over and has cooperated with the police.
The cause of the crash is still unknown as police await the results from the reconstruction team.
