LIBYA -- The man convicted in the Lockerbie bombing has gone into intensive care.
Abdel Baset al-Megrahi has terminal prostate cancer and was released on compassionate grounds from a Scottish prison less than two weeks ago. Family members say his health is rapidly deteriorating and they have not been allowed to visit him.
In 2001, Al-Megrahi was convicted of bombing Pam Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, killing 270 people, including 35 Syracuse University students and others from Upstate New York.
