Lacey Johnson Leonardi
Lacey is living her passion working in broadcasting. She better be, she's been in the business for 20 years!

Before bringing that experience to YNN Lacey reported for News 24 Houston. She started her broadcast career as a reporter at WBSG-TV in Georgia. Lacey was the Texas Evening News Announcer for National Public Radio while attending Abilene Christian University. Since then, she has been Talent and Producer for First American Health Care, The Health Network, WFTV in Orlando, ESPN2, and National Mobile Television. Lacey was Senior News Reporter and fill in Weather Anchor for WBSG/WJXX ABC, Jacksonville.

Lacey says some of her career highlights include interviewing Colin Powell and former First Lady Barbara Bush.

Lacey keeps you up to date on the wide variety of local events and activities happening in Central and Northern New York with her weekly segments called Weekend Buzz. Look for Weekend Buzz on Thursdays, AND Free Fun on Saturdays.

In her free time, Lacey is active in many Central New York charitable and civic organizations. Lacey sits on the board of the March of Dimes, and works closely with the Carol M. Baldwin Research Fund of CNY. She is a member of Wetzel Road church of Christ. Lacey was honored as one of Central New York’s ’40 Under 40” for 2009, in recognition of her professional achievements and community work. She is enthusiastic about boating, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and her coastal Georgia home on the small island of Saint Simons. Lacey, and her husband Frank, welcomed their healthy baby girl into the world in January 2010.

Lacey was awarded the Norma Coburn Community Service Award by local police and Onondaga Traffic Safety Advisory Board in 2009 and 2010. She is also the 2010 Philanthropic Person of the Year by the Carol M. Baldwin Research Fund of CNY.
